  • Position Objective

    Growing, regionally recognized company is seeking a Vice President as our operational leader for our security officer and life safety service’s company. Our company is growing with tremendous future opportunities for the right Executive. The VP position is hands-on responsible for the oversight and direction of the operational and financial performance of the New York City Region in our fast paced, complex, growth oriented, and highly successful company.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Providing strong leadership to our both external customers, employees and stakeholders
    • Ensure our quality services are provided to meet all customer expectations and contract requirements by regularly managing, directing, coaching, mentoring, and leading the team
    • Must be an effective communicator and spokesperson for the company in the marketplace
    • Strong collaboration skills in the development and ongoing engagement of the strategic sales initiatives, plans and activities
    • Works closely with the selling team to strategize, develop and engage in new business opportunities
    • Attend business / industry related sales and marketing meetings and events. Be a Leader!
    • Directly engage in obtaining new business, cultivate existing relationships. The NYC market is our HQ and a top growth priority
    • Become knowledgeable on current customers and lead the renegotiating expiring contracts
    • Maintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends and services
    • Provide recommendations and implement actions for positive and negative personnel actions for those staff members under his/her direct supervision
    • Drive performance by retaining, developing and recruiting top talent to ensure the region has key leaders in operational roles and responsibilities
    • Participate in and develop annual budget goals and performance
    • Develop and foster communication across all regions, company and between executive leadership, management, employees, customers, and staff
    • Facilitate payment of invoices with customer accounts
    • Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise
    • Follow/coordinate/develop emergency response, business continuity planning and procedures
    • Prepare required weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports, as required

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Candidates should possess some of the following verifiable experiences;
      • Law enforcement experience at an executive/management level or Private or Corporate security experience is strongly desired
      • Criminal Justice degree or law enforcement related degree
    • Participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service environment
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Good computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications
